The Vental Cassette Type D pelmet is a single-piece aluminium extrusion that is 130 mm high. This minimalist design offers a neat solution to protecting the blind workings where the building design has not already allowed for a constructed blind recess. This cassette pelmet is designed to be the minimum height required to cover the blind head rail and working components only and is not intended to cover the entire retracted blind packet. The slats can be tilted either way in any dropped position (approximately 160º rotation). The motor performs both the lift / lower and tilt operation function for the blind. The motor is always positioned around the middle of the blind span width so that the motor torque can be evenly passed through the drive axles to the tilt + raise spools. For the blind to operate, you will need to arrange for a licensed electrical contractor to provide the correct power and switching to each blind position.
