Vental External Blinds
At Vental we manufacture a range of external aluminium venetian blind models, right here in our Sydney factory, that are designed to provide sun shading to glazed windows and doors.
Our products are designed to be fitted directly in front of glazing to control the amount of solar heat gained through these surfaces. Fitted in front of glazing, our external venetian blinds significantly reduce solar heat gain and allow for greater uniformity of internal temperatures.
A secondary benefit of this type of sun shading is the control of glare and privacy. With the appropriate adjustment of the blind slats, a balance between the reduction of heat and glare as well as privacy and viewing out can usually be achieved.
The Vental model 80a6 external venetian blind has 80mm wide roll-formed aluminium slats with a radius edge. This model has extruded aluminium guide rails with sound deadening inserts. The slats can be raised and lowered as well as tilted from closed to open in any dropped position.
The Vental model 80a2 external venetian blind has 80mm wide roll-formed aluminium slats with a radius edge. This model has tensioned wire guides in 316 stainless steel with a UV resistant PA 6 Polyamide coating. The slats can be raised and lowered as well as tilted from closed to open in any dropped position.
The Vental model 80af external venetian blind has 80mm wide roll-formed aluminium slats without a radius edge. This model has tensioned wire guides in 316 stainless steel with a UV resistant PA 6 Polyamide coating. The slats can be raised and lowered as well as tilted from closed to flat open in any dropped position.
Vental model 50a external venetian blinds have 50mm wide formed aluminium slats without a radius edge. This model has tensioned wire guides in 316 stainless steel with a UV resistant PA 6 Polyamide coating. The slats can be raised and lowered as well as tilted from closed to open in any dropped position.
External blinds are one of the most efficient types of solar shading available, acting as a barrier between the sunlight and the external face of the glass, thereby significantly reducing the heat build-up through the glass as well as controlling glare.
Vental external venetian blinds are an extremely flexible and highly efficient external solar shading system, providing variable light control through the tilting of the slats while retaining the outside view. The system is suitable for most types of installation and can be used to cover large areas of glazing.
Vental blinds are straightforward to fit and designed for fixing to most types of surface. They are particularly suitable for fitting within a window reveal but can also be fitted under an overhang, concealed within a recess or even used on building facade.
